Booking a first consultation can feel like a bigger commitment than it actually is. Here’s a plain walkthrough of what the conversation covers, so there are no surprises going in.
It starts with your plot, not a sales pitch
The first questions are about your site: dimensions, orientation, and any rough measurements you already have. Even approximate numbers are useful at this stage. If you don’t have exact dimensions yet, that’s fine, it’s still worth having the conversation.
Then it moves to how your household actually lives
This isn’t a checklist of room counts. It’s questions about your daily routines, who needs privacy from whom, whether you work from home, whether elderly parents will need ground-floor access, and what’s genuinely important to your family versus what you think you’re supposed to ask for.
You’ll talk through what’s realistic on your specific plot
Every plot has real constraints: setback rules, BBMP or BDA regulations, orientation, and neighbouring structures. Part of the consultation is an honest read on what’s actually possible before you commit to a full project, so you’re not building expectations around something your plot can’t support.
Vastu comes up if it matters to you
If vastu-compliant planning is important to your family, this is the point to say so. It shapes how orientation and layout get discussed for the rest of the process.
How long it actually takes
A first consultation is usually a single sit-down conversation, not a multi-visit process. You leave with a direction, not a finished design, and there’s no pressure to decide anything on the spot.
What you should bring
Plot dimensions and orientation if you have them, and a clear sense of how your household actually uses space day to day. A rough list of must-haves versus nice-to-haves helps the conversation move faster, but isn’t required.
What you’ll leave with
A clearer sense of what’s possible on your site, an honest read on design direction, and, if it’s a fit, a clear next step into the full design process. If it isn’t a fit for either side, you’ll hear that too, rather than being pushed into a project that doesn’t make sense.
Is there any obligation?
No. It’s a conversation to understand your site and brief, not a commitment to proceed. If you decide to move forward afterward, the next step is the same design process used across custom home, villa, and turnkey projects: understanding how you live, floor planning, then drawings.
